Why this board exists
South Africa has no shortage of willing workers - only a shortage of ways to be found. Pensioners stretch R2 400 a month across food, electricity, medicine, and often grandchildren too. Somewhere nearby, work sits undone & a worker goes unfound; this board aims to connect them.
How St Joseph's Workshop Works
This is a free noticeboard, named after St Joseph the Worker, the carpenter in whose workshop Jesus learned a trade. Pius XII gave the Church his feast so the dignity of ordinary work would not be lost sight of - not charity handed down, but work honoured and shared.
